The University of Essex Rowing Club is a competitive and recreational sweep rowing and sculling club based at Ardleigh Reservoir, Essex and associated with the University of Essex, Colchester.

Joining

Eligibility

The club is an open club, allowing students and members of the public to join and train.

Cost

Membership is made through the University of Essex Student Union here:

  • Half year - £80
  • Full year - £130

Training

Training schedule intensity

  • Water Training Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings at Ardleigh Reservior
  • Land Training Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings at University of Essex Sports Centre
