Joining

To be eligible to join the University of Worcester Rowing Club, you must be a student at the university. Any standard of ability is accepted, from complete beginner to competent rower.

Training

The club is broken into Development and Senior Squads and then into Mens squad and Womens squad. Usually train on the Severn, Saturday and Sunday with Circuit training during the week, and Land training every week day. The key regattas in our calendar include BUCS, Metropolitan Regatta, Marlow Regatta and of course Henley Royal. We have arguably one of the best stretches of water for rowing training, a six Kilometer stretch between Diglis lock in Worcester and the Camp Inn at Hallow. We yearly attend a week long training camp which in the past two years has been in Brive-la-Gaillarde.
